Our first week was a great success with 650 meals served! To those customers who experienced longer than normal wait times, we appreciate your patience and assure you that we are making changes to ensure food is delivered to cars more quickly. We look forward to serving you again in the next 5 weeks.

Saint James Lenten Fish Fry 
65 minutes and counting in a line on Broad Street, then Spring Street, then into the St. James church parking lot with 10 lines, and still have not ordered our meals.
Volunteer explained order/serving line is moving at the cooking pace.
We entered the line at 5:00 pm.

Dear Allan,
Thank you for your patience. Our community fish fry is completely run by volunteers and much of the money donated goes back into the community. Our volunteer fryers were working nonstop from 3:30 pm until 8 pm. Everyone was working nonstop. We served over 800 yesterday and I assure you we were delivering meals as fast as they were made. We pray that next year we will all be together again in Heller for sit down meals, but until then we are trying to make the best of the situation. We value our community greatly, so thank you again for coming out.
